Dmitry A. BURGANOVSKIY
was born on July 17, 1948 in Leningrad.
In 1971 he graduated from the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School
named after V. I. Mukhina (now St. Petersburg State Art and Industry Academy named after A. L. Stieglitz).
In the years 1973-2006. worked as the
art director and chief designer in the newspapers and magazines.
Member of the Union of Journalists of St. Petersburgand the Leningrad Region. He was awarded the prestigious prize of the Union of Journalists of St. Petersburg "Golden Pen-2011".
He is also well-known as a designer of more than one hundred books and photoalbums.

Watercolor and graphic works of Dmitry Burganovsky are in private collections in Russia, Germany, Israel, France.
Here one can see watercolors from 2001 to 2018, performed in techniques alla prima and "over raw ". Basically, these are landscapes and urban motifs that create a special mood.
In the winter of 2016/2017, in the gallery of the Karl Bulla Historical Photography Foundation (St Petersburg, Nevsky pr., 54), a personal exhibition "One Touch" was successfully held. In addition to watercolor paintings, Dmitry Burganovskiy's graphic design and book projects have been presented.
